1. The COVID-19 virus makes planning future live events uncertain. LDPC wishes to deliver a safe, in-person LDP Summit. However, due to changing circumstances and any number of complications, LDPC may, at its sole discretion, decide to make the event “full virtual,” or postpone or cancel the event completely.
2. If the event is moved to full virtual, all registrations for the in-person event will be automatically “converted” into registrations for the virtual event, and any difference in cost will be refunded (applying the same percentage discounts captured during the initial registration process – e.g. early bird rates, and membership discount percentages.)
3. If the event is postponed, registrants will be notified of the new date and given the opportunity to cancel their registrations for a full refund.
4. If the event is cancelled, all registrants will receive a full refund – subject to the limitations noted below in item 9.
5. LDPC understands that attendees require similar flexibility.
a. IN-PERSON Registrations:
i. May be cancelled as late as April 15th for a full refund
ii. May be converted to Virtual registrations (if offered) by April 15th for a refund of the price difference.
iii. May be cancelled after April 15th for a 50% refund.
b. VIRTUAL registrations (if offered)
i. May be cancelled as late as May 9th for a full refund
ii. May be converted to IN-PERSON registrations by April 15th with payment of the difference in cost
iii. Will not be refunded if cancelled after May 9th.
6. Conference registration can be cancelled only in writing to [email protected].
7. Substitutions may be made at any time. If you wish to substitute a participant, please contact [email protected] at the earliest opportunity.
8. All refunds will be made within two months of notice of cancellation.
9. If LDPC must cancel the event, its liability is limited to a full refund of the event fee only. For example, there will be no payments made to cover
a. any travel or hotel costs incurred by registrants associated with attending the event,
b. any fees relating to becoming a member of LDP Connect with the intent of securing the membership discount on Summit registration.
10. LDPC accepts no liability if an event is cancelled or postponed for reasons beyond its reasonable control resulting from an act of God, public health emergency, governmental regulation, fire, war, terrorist activity or civil commotion.
With full knowledge of the risks associated with the COVID-19 virus, you release, waive, discharge LDPC from any and all liabilities, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever, directly or indirectly arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or death, that may be sustained by you related to COVID-19 while participating in any activity while in, on, or around the premises or while using the facilities that may lead to unintentional exposure or harm due to COVID-19.
You also agree to follow all health regulations/policies of the venue, and LDPC such as they may be determined.
LDPC accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to personal property.
Should LDPC decide to make the event virtual, virtual attendees acknowledge that a virtual event necessarily depends upon conferencing technology and access to the internet. Attendees are responsible for securing their own reliable internet access. LDPC accepts no responsibility for connection difficulties (and any resulting lack of quality to audio/video) that may result from weak or broken network access.

1.3 Cancellation and Refunds
It is our aim that you will be completely happy with the Membership. However, we appreciate that there may come a time when you wish to leave the Membership.

Members may upgrade their membership at any time through their account at LDPconnect.com. In addition, membership may be upgraded at any time by contacting LDP Connect at [email protected].
Membership will be upgraded for the remainder of the membership term, at the prorated cost of the upgrade difference. The member will then be billed at the new upgraded rate at the next renewal date.
