Last year most of my team was able to attend the Summit. The Summit was developmentally valuable for each of us individually, but attending as a group was also beneficial as a team building activity. It’s a great event to learn best practices, benchmark with other companies, and get inspired to take action.
– Brian Vander May, Associate Director, Leadership Development Programs, RTX
The LDP Summit is a fantastic opportunity for entire teams to gain insights, make connections, and benchmark similar programs. The Medtronic team has benefited greatly from having multiple team members attend the summit over the years for several reasons: it is developmental for everyone involved, it allows the team to break out between sessions and share learnings, and it provides broader awareness of others doing similar work.
–Niki Parsons, Sr. HR Program Manager at Medtronic
From a personal & program development perspective the whole summit is an energizing experience! Luckily over the past 2 years I have attended with several other colleagues that lead programs for my company. By doing this we are able to cast a wider net across all the topics being presented and share the insights gained with each other and our broader teams once we return. I have taken “nuggets” each year of something I would like to try and having others who heard the same thing and/or can bounce ideas off of has been very fruitful in bringing those ideas to life and incorporating them into our overall LDP strategy.
–Kelly Flecksteiner, Sr. Finance Manager, Early in Career at Johnson & Johnson
Sending multiple members from Cigna’s TECDP (Technology Early Career Development Program) team to the Leadership Development Program Summit was an incredibly valuable opportunity. The summit provided unparalleled professional development, equipping our team with fresh leadership strategies and innovative problem-solving skills. The networking opportunities allowed us to connect with industry leaders and peers, fostering valuable relationships that continue to inspire collaboration. The event also sparked creativity, giving our team fresh perspectives and ideas to bring back to our organization. Attending together amplified the experience, ensuring we could immediately apply what we learned as a team.
